So tomorrow is the one day of the year where no mater who you are, you can get shit faced, and if your Irish or have any Irish blood you can pass out naked at a strange place and no one will care...

So I got to thinking... It's about time I put up one of my mixed drink recipes...

This one used to be named the "WTF" as that was the first thing I said the very first time I mixed it, and is usually what people say when I tell them what is in it.  Today, I am officially renaming it to "What The J".  The old name of WTF was over used thanks to the internet and the new name is just more fun and leaves more mystery in my opinion. (and I have a theme going)

A little history on this drink... It's not a "new" drink, I've had it locked away for several years only to bring it out on special occasions.  It came to be while I was still living at my parents place (yea laugh all you want, but I was broke and somewhat jobless and just fresh out of college and they had a few empty bedrooms and i took care of the dog for them while they were at work, so its all good)... Anyways... I was just entering the world of drinking and mixed drinks and trying to learn how to mix so I would scrap together some cash and try something every Friday or Saturday.  Eventually there becomes leftovers be it the liquor or mixer, and some times you just run out of one while in the middle of the night and your not done drinking.  So what happens, I just start mixing thing together; Im drunk already so if something comes out bad it dont mater, its much easier to choke down and there is 1 goal in mind; to get get very drunk or to sustain the very very very nice buz.  So I grab some left over mixer and pour it in a glass with the current liquor of the week and my mouth goes nutz while my mind explodes (and is followed up by blurting out to myself "what the fuck...").  This particular blend was not even close to what I had expected, and the after taste... I still can not wrap my mind around that one...  So with this new found drink I try to push it off to my friends to try some time later, a few are brave enough and they have nothing bad to say, just its not the flavor they like to drink, in fact this is more of a girl drink as it is very sweet in flavor and the only girls I knew at the time were wusses and would not try much of anything that I made (at least not at that time;) )  So it now becomes a specialized drink that is not mixed often due to its very nature, and the lack of cool chicks in my life.  From time to time I would make one of these but it really did not resurface till as of late when I mixed it for a few friends and they enjoyed it, so now I am sharing the secret with the rest of the work and giving it a new fun name!!

The good stuff:
Its very easy to make...
2 parts sweet sour mixer
1 part spiced rum

Thats it!!

To order at a bar:
Ask for a margarita, and have them substitute the tequila with spiced rum.
